Monthly Montage 2019: Set 2 of 4

Another quarter of the year has gone by and we're already halfway through 2019! I've never felt so scared of time passing by and feeling kind of lost in this world. But the past half of the year has been pretty good, comparing it with last year's. There surely has been a flux of emotions and a variety of events and experiences that made their way to me for the past 3 months and I'm here to share them through another batch of my monthly montage.

APRIL 2019

April's keywords are: empty, tired, and the phrase light at the end of the tunnel. I just felt an itch to break from the city and isolate myself from my surroundings (you know, with all the hustle and bustle). Most of my days were spent indoors, alone. And I didn't go out except when I had to. Luckily, I went out on a short staycation with my family and it was a much needed escape from the city.

MAY 2019
The month of May felt like there were different parts of me that were telling me to do what must be done... that sort of thing. This month was filled with pushing myself to take risks and bring the just do it mentality into my lifestyle. It's a month of new beginnings, even if it meant uncertainty. My fear for the unknown has always been present, but this month felt like its effect on me was minimized and I put my words into actions. It was hard but it was an unfamiliar feeling of defeating those inner demons. It felt so good how I didn't let my mind win over my heart.

JUNE 2019
Ah, June. Well, things didn't go according to plan. I remember how I wanted to focus on a lot of things for my growth, career-wise, but I spent most of the month working on other things. But the highlight of the month is socializing. It has been a month of meeting a lot of people from different backgrounds. I didn't expect this but it's a fun time. It felt good to be surrounded by new people and learning about their stories. But on the other hand, I get easily exhausted when I socialize and talk for hours so that's kind of a bummer.

That's another three months from my year so far. I hope you're doing well! I hope the next days, weeks, months will treat us well.
